What is Membrane Wrap Lite?
Membrane Wrap - Lite is a specially designed barrier membrane that provides protective coverage for both acute and chronic wounds. This lightweight allograft acts as a natural shield, helping to protect the wound site from external contaminants while supporting the body’s healing process.
Application
Membrane Wrap - Lite can be trimmed to fit the wound size using sterile scissors. Place the membrane directly over the wound bed and hydrate it with sterile saline while in position to activate its protective properties. Secure the membrane with sutures, staples, or tissue adhesives as needed to keep it in place. Use the membrane within one hour of hydration to ensure maximum effectiveness in supporting the healing process.
