What is AmnioCore OP?
AmnioCore OP is an amniotic membrane disc allograft available in both single and dual layers. Designed for homologous use, these grafts provide coverage and protection in ocular repair and reconstruction procedures. AmnioCore OP contains essential growth factors embedded in a structural protein matrix, offering excellent handling characteristics. This ensures easy manipulation and results in a flexible and reliable allograft.
Application
Open the outer peel pouch and transfer the inner sterile pouch with the allograft material to the sterile field. In the sterile field, open the innermost pouch and prepare the allograft for transplantation. Trim the allograft to the desired size using sterile scissors or a scalpel, if necessary. Apply the allograft directly to the surgical site, hydrating it with sterile saline or another sterile solution just before application.
