What Is Physio?
Physio® is an advanced bone tissue allograft composed of 100% human bone without any extrinsic carrier. Its unique processing technique solubilizes bone mineral, which is preserved in a gelatin carrier, providing readily accessible support for bone mineralization. Physio® features bone particles with a surface-activated outer layer and a mineral core, exposing growth factors and collagen that aid in new bone regeneration.
Application
Hold the syringe in one hand and dispense Physio® into the other. Immediately close your hand around the material to activate and initiate the softening process with the warmth of your grasp. Transfer it to the opposite hand, continuing to grasp it. If the material feels dry, repeatedly open and close your hand for 5-10 seconds to further activate it. If the handling properties are still not ideal after 20 seconds, switch hands and repeat the process until the material reaches the desired consistency. Once fully activated, the material will be moldable, remoldable, and resistant to irrigation after implantation.
