What Are Plif Grafts?
PLIF Grafts (Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion Grafts) are specialized orthopedic implants designed for spinal fusion procedures. These grafts are placed between the vertebrae in the lumbar spine to stabilize and support the spine during the healing process. Made from biocompatible materials, PLIF grafts promote bone growth and integration, enhancing the body’s natural healing capabilities.
Application
In its dry state, the allograft can be cut to the desired size with sharp scissors. Place the allograft on the site, then hydrate it with sterile saline solution while it is in position. Secure the AmnioCore allograft using suture material (absorbable or non-absorbable) or tissue adhesives if needed. Use the graft within 1 hour of reconstitution.
