Soft Tissue Allografts Info & Applications

What Are Soft Tissue Allografts?

A soft tissue allograft is a biological graft derived from donated human tissue, primarily used in surgical procedures to replace or augment damaged or missing soft tissues. This type of allograft provides an effective solution for various medical applications, including orthopedic, dental, and reconstructive surgeries. Soft tissue allografts are processed and sterilized to ensure safety and biocompatibility, promoting natural healing and tissue regeneration.

Application

To effectively use soft tissue allografts, dispense the material into your hand and close it tightly to utilize body heat for softening. If dry, open and close your hand for 5-10 seconds. Manipulate until fully moldable. A properly activated allograft will maintain its integrity and withstand irrigation after implantation, ensuring successful integration.
